Back in Japan, where I’m from, we’ve long enjoyed “mizudashi” — coffee slowly brewed in cold water — a refreshingly smooth way to beat the heat. When made with specialty coffee like ours, the flavour is truly exceptional.

Brewing couldn’t be easier — all you need is a carafe or jug with at least 1 litre capacity. Simply steep a pouch in cold water overnight, and by morning, you’ll have a smooth, refreshing cold brew ready to enjoy.

For a perfect afternoon treat, serve your cold brew over ice with a slice of lemon or orange for a bright, citrusy twist.

6 pouches per pack
1 pack makes 1 Litre of Cold Brew

Place one coffee pouch in a litre of water and leave to slowly brew for up to 24 hours in your fridge. (Adjust time depending on your preferred strength)
Once reached the desired strength, remove the coffee pouch and store it in the fridge. Serve over ice. *Consume within 5 days.

Tip: Brewing time will be shorter if you leave it to brew at room temperature for the first several hours.
