Colombia's Huila region is one of the most celebrated coffee-growing areas in the world, and this lot is a beautiful example of why. Grown at altitude between 1,600 and 1,950 metres by smallholder farmers of the Cooperativa de Operación Nacional Agropecuaria, it's a coffee with real depth and elegance.
In the cup: a creamy, full body with vibrant yet restrained acidity, and a natural sweetness that stays long after the last sip. Black, it opens with sweet nectarine and crisp apple, with a cashew richness and a light cream finish.
